TERMS OF SERVICE

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Levelyss ("we", "us"), a task RPG operated by its developer. By creating an account or using the app at app.levelyss.com or the website at levelyss.com, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

Accounts

• Guest or registered. You can play as a guest (a random ID, no email) or register with an email, Google, or Apple identity. Registering a guest account carries your progress over.
• One person per account. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your login.
• Age. You must be at least 13 (or the higher minimum your local law sets) to use Levelyss.
• Accuracy. Information you give us (like the email on a registered account) must be yours and correct — it's how we reach you and how you recover access.

Premium subscriptions

What it is. Premium is a paid tier that removes the free tier's limits (such as daily AI analysis caps and quest-forging limits) and unlocks premium-only features. What's included is shown at the point of purchase and may evolve as the game does.

Who sells it. On the web, Premium is sold by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our merchant of record — your purchase is also governed by Paddle's checkout terms, and Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, invoices, and refunds. In the future mobile apps, purchases will be made through Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions are monthly or annual and renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes.

Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Profile → Manage subscription (or via the link in your Paddle receipt email). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds. See the refund policy.

Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we'll notify you before it takes effect so you can cancel first.

Your content

Everything you put into Levelyss — tasks, quests, goals, rewards, skill names — is yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: to store your content, process it (including with our self-hosted AI, as described in the privacy policy), and display it back to you. We don't publish it, sell it, or train public models on it.

You're responsible for what you write. Don't store content that's illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.

Rules of the game

• Don't break, probe, or overload the service, or try to get around usage limits, security, or access controls.
• Don't reverse-engineer the service or scrape it with automated tools.
• Don't use Levelyss to harm others or to violate any law.
• Don't resell or share access to Premium outside your own account.

The System's AI

Task scoring, suggestions, and the Quest Forge are generated by a language model we host ourselves. AI output can be wrong, odd, or unhelpful — treat XP values, suggestions, and forged quests as gameplay, not professional advice of any kind. You decide what tasks to take on and how; the System just keeps score.

Alpha status, changes, and availability

Levelyss is in active development. Features may change, be rebalanced, or be removed; XP curves and game mechanics may be tuned; downtime happens. We aim to preserve your data across changes, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

We may update these terms as the game evolves. We'll post changes here with a new effective date and announce material changes in-app; continuing to use Levelyss after that means you accept the updated terms.

Ending the game

You can delete your account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete account) — deletion is permanent. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the service; if your account is closed while a paid period is active and you didn't cause the closure, we'll refund the unused portion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Levelyss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or, if you paid nothing, €20). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects the statutory rights consumer law gives you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you're a consumer in the EEA or UK, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law, and disputes can be brought in your local courts.
